COMMENTS FROM 3-GUN PAST
Thanks for the great match our squad had a great time. And it was a great warm up for the Ironman. I am looking forward to next years match. I thought it was a very well organized match. Obviously, a lot of work and preparation went into it. The lunch and BBQ dinner were really nice. Also, I LOVED the surprise stage - whoever designed that gets kudos. You did a great job, and thanks is not enough for all the work. It was one of the best run matches I've been to in a long time. Thank you for a great match. I had a lot of fun and it was a great challenge and helped me get ready for Ironman. I look forward to next year. I just wanted to drop you a note to let you know you put on another great match! Mike, Eryk, Jody, and I all had a great time! The dedicated RO's were helpful, pleasant, understanding and professional, I don't remember all of their names but thanks to them all. John (half of team Santa), Alan, Bob (should be committed for his rifle props, and target placement) and Danielle you guys did a great job. And Lee who designed the run up the gully stage, (I never liked Lee) just kidding my hat is off to you to be able to run the shooters all day long (and in his advanced years too! what a stud). |

Ruby Mountain 3-Gun 2009 Thank you to everyone who showed up and supported our event by participating. Things started out a bit wet on Saturday morning but for those that stuck it out and waited, the day cleared up and rewarded us with perfect shooting weather, not too hot and not too cold. Congratulations to Bennie Cooley for winning overall in the match shooting Scoped Tactical, Robert Johnson 1st Open, Peter Pres 1st Scoped Tactical, Ben Callender Tactical. Sunday morning turned out beautiful for the Man on Man 2-Gun Shoot off. However the rain just could not hold off any longer and around noon Sunday the storm clouds rolled back in just as Kelly and Lee were shooting it out in the final bout. Congratulations Kelly Beal on a job well done, and to Lee for kicking Kelly's butt to the losers bracket the first bout to fight it out there. After all of you were gone our dedicated crew of RO’s continued their work of cleaning up and putting away the match in the rain. We were a bit short handed this year and appreciate all the help and patience. Please share with us your comments and photos.
