These are very sturdy frames and if taken care of should last.  Another option is to just buy an 8’ 2x2 cut it in half put the sticks in the pockets at the range and staple your cardboard to the front of both sticks, and there you go, a quick target back!  The quickie version won’t be as stable in windy conditions but it won’t take up much room in your vehicle.
